Mr/Mrs Elliott Whitemoss Youth Clubs Founders.

First established in 1956 as Whitemoss Boys Club, the club started off in the ‘Green Tin Hut’ over at St. Marks Church. In 1967 it transferred to the current premises on Southdown Crescent.

The club has grown enormously over the years and now boasts a total member base of over 100+ children and young adults.

Currently the club offers 3 types of nights:

Junior Club – ages 8 – 12

This is currently run by volunteers and has an approximate membership of 60 Children. (Two nights per week)

Senior Club – ages 13 – 19

Manchester City Council (Manchester Youth Service) offers 40-50 young people many opportunities to meet new friends. (Two nights per week)

Fun Club – ages 8 -13

A club specially designed to help children with special needs

Monday – 6:30pm – 8:00pm (Juniors)

Tuesday – 7:00pm – 10:00pm (Seniors)

Wednesday – 6:00pm – 8:00pm (Junior Special Needs)

     11.30 -12.30 Adults Yoga Classes (Zest Free Sessions)

1.00pm -3.00pm (Zest Free Pamper Sessions)

Thursday – 7:00pm – 10:00pm (Seniors)

Friday – 6:00pm – 8:00pm (Juniors

8.00pm – 9.00pm(Junior Boxercise)

Saturday – Open for Hire (Charlestown tenants, Residents

Commitee & Public meetings Birthday Parties - £50 for 2 hours

 Multi Sensory Room/Music Studio is available for Hire Telephone Club (0161 740 1190) for Hire Charges

 

 

Activities include:

Arts and Crafts, Badminton, Basketball, Board Games, Computer Games, Dancing, Darts, Football for boys and girls, Netball, Pool,Snooker, Quiz’s, Table tennis,Darts,Volley Ball,Trips Out,Multi Sensory Room for every one to use,plus our New Music Studio,
